Now.....Hello Palo Alto:

 
 

 

The past couple weeks have been exciting: no heat, no hot water, and a
twice flooded garage space (my new studio, hooray!), but we are now
almost settled in our new place. And I'm very glad to be back at the
easel (I was starting to get antsy)

That orange slice shape on the left side was a fortuitous accident! It's
actually left over from a previous wiped out painting. I like the splash
of color it adds, so I kept it.

WIN A PAINTING CONTEST (II)

I am announcing a contest that will run for 2 weeks. For every friend
that you refer to my email newsletter, I'll enter you into a random
drawing for a free painting! There is no limit to the number of entries
you can have. Your friend will ALSO be entered!

Instructions:

Step 1: Your friend must first sign up for my email newsletter at my
website  .
Step 2: Then she/he must send a quick note (from the same email they
signed up with) to [email protected]. In this note they must
provide YOUR name and email so I know who referred them. At this point,
I will make one entry for you, and one entry for your friend.

That's it! One caveat: your friend must sign up under her/his free will.
Seems obvious but...thought I'd just make sure. I will make the random
drawing and announce the winner on January 30th!! It will probably be a
smaller painting, and unframed. I'll ship it for free within the
continental U.S. (for an international winner, we'll work something out
depending on your location).

Our new aparment includes a garage space that I'm using for my studio.
It rocks. I'm very excited about it...my first legit studio. I'll send
some photos next week.
