| Dear Subscribers, Greetings! Major news this week. I will be having a one-man show opening June 18th at Carmen's Gallery in Solomons, MD! It will be a mixture of still-life and cityscapes. (2011 is Carmen's Gallery 30th year anniversary) As previewed last week, here is the new cityscape: 90 minutes of photos yielded 1 photo that I thought would make a good starting point:  Stages:       And the finished painting, "The Path" (36x18):  Here is an unfinished graphite drawing from the evening figure drawing classes I'm taking. I'm learning a different method than I'm used to, tighter and focused on contour rather than massing. It is interesting so far. I predicted that I'd get impatient with this method, but it's actually kind of fun.  Until next week, David A. N.
