When I experience the lack of big creative ideas, I find it helpful to grab onto a kernel of an idea, no matter how simple, and use it as an exercise by which to clear the mental logjam. The physical act alone of putting brush (or knife) to panel can help to bring me out of a creative block. So here is “Sketch of a Doomsday Melon, 2020” (6x6 oil on linen on aluminum). It was my last painting of 2020...which seems fitting. Available now for $600 framed (or $550 unframed). If interested, you can reply to this email. ![]()
Thank you for reading. Until next time, Best wishes -David
