I made a new print! But first, I have two new works-in-progress to show you.
Here is the setup. That's my studio fire extinguisher and there's a folding knife balanced on the glass.

Another new work on the easel.
Here is the setup. There's beauty to be found in the garage.
Starting straight in with a knife. No block-in this time (didn't feel like it).

Starting to look like something.
Still mostly knife, but I start to add in some brush work in the finer details, especially in darker areas.

I made a new print! This is the largest-sized print I've done so far, so it's a bit more expensive and also limited to a tiny run of only 10 prints. My reference for this painting was a photo I took in Seattle several years ago, looking South on a wet I-5 from up on Pine or Boren. When I first showed this painting in my newsletter last May, I wrote: "In the midst of this pandemic and my current state of isolation, I wanted this painting to feel like it was bursting with life...a cornucopia of motion spewing out from under the 1-5 Freeway Park/Convention Center lid. I started to imagine the separate, luscious and intricate storylines of each individual driver and passenger."
