Dear Subscribers,

Greetings!

I'm researching the future possibility of teaching still-life painting
on a regular basis to a small number of students (4 or 5 to start ?),
maybe twice a week. I am located in Palo Alto, California. If you would
be interested, shoot me an email!

Well, it was a wipe-out week (late-stage death of painting by way of
wipe/scrape). It happens. I decided the composition was weak. At least I
had some fun with plums:

Night figure class at the Safehouse Atelier is going great. I love this
class. Here are progress pics from Monday and Wednesday:

This week I got: new thrift store junk for still-life ; new reference
material for cityscape. Still-life or cityscape next? Oh the
possibilities......

Until next week (the next newsletter will come either before or after
the weekend),
