Dear Subscribers,

Greetings!

This issue will be long to make up for the missing newsletter last
weekend. I was backpacking with friends in the Olympic mountains of
Washington state! We went to Appleton Pass, 7.5 mile hike from Sol Duc.
High-alpine...the views were ridiculously beautiful. It is impossible to
capture with photos, but here are some pics to give you an idea:

Thankfully my mosquito bites are starting to go away. It was so worth
it.

cards at the campsite:

As mentioned 2 weeks ago, I'm researching the future possibility of
teaching still-life painting on a regular basis to a small number of
students (4 or 5 to start ?), maybe twice a week. I am located in Palo
Alto, California. If you would be interested, shoot me an email! No oil
painting experience required. Just some background/ability in drawing.
More info is pending.

Here is last month's finished nude study (night class at the Safehouse
Atelier)
