I've been drawn towards painting larger works this year...It feels good to go big. I plan to create additional large works for the Gallery 1261 booth at the upcoming LA Art Show in February 2023! Some WIP closeups: |
Earlier this year, Dominion (40x30in oil on panel) sold for $9800 from Gallery 1261. Amazing. Thankful to have my overall pricing increase embraced by collectors. |

My favorite things about being in the nft world:
-It has allowed me to explore and experiment with digital art processes, which is actually starting to influence my oil painting practice (more on that next time!)
-The ability to easily collect art from some of my favorite artists. It honestly feels amazing to support my peers. After these years spent on only one side of the equation, perhaps now I finally understand how some of you collectors feel. I currently own over 1100 nfts from over 300 distinct artists. Haha! It's a healthy addiction...
-COLLABORATIONS. I've never had the opportunity before to collaborate with such talented artists. I'm finding it to be incredibly gratifying. |

As some of you are already aware, artist Tania Rivilis (incredible painter and WINNER of this year's Royal Society of Portrait Painters’ Annual Exhibition) and I have been helping Podcaster and Artist John Dalton enter the world of NFTs in a step-by-step podcast series which is intended to help other artists.
