The green thing has such a smooth/gradual turning of form.... it took a
ridiculous amount of time to get that to look right....but I like how it
turned out (below). I guess I'm getting more patient.

October 11-14 I'm travelling to Baltimore for a David Leffel workshop!!!
One of my favorite artists! The first time I saw his work is the first
time I realized still-life could be truly awesome. Here's a good one:

 
 

 

*Class info*

I am starting a still-life oil painting class. I plan to begin in
January (possibly Feb, depends). Looking for 4-5 students max to cram
into small space. The class will be on a monthly tuition basis: $250 a
month. Mondays and Wednesdays 9am-noon. No oil painting experience
required, but some drawing skills would be good. Located in Palo Alto,
California. Just off of El Camino Real.
