I recently completed a digital painting collaboration with amazing London artist/illustrator Erwin Cruz (https://www.instagram.com/erwincruzart/). It was really an interesting challenge. Our method of collaboration was to pass back and forth a digital painting file, each doing a few hours of work at a time, both using the same photo reference, painting with procreate on our ipads. It was very organic, improvisational, and experimental. We both felt free to destroy or build on each others work as needed, turning this ordinary scene into something more. Both being busy with multiple projects, this took us 4 months to complete! I'm quite happy with the finished painting. We sold this as a multi-edition nft on the tezos blockchain.

This was pretty cool. Here is a HUGE projection of my painting "Host" in the heart of London at Shoreditch & Bricklane. My twitter friend Julian @animusnft (nft collector, producer, supporter of artists) brought me into this great project. |
