Greetings.

New 30x30in. abstract painting (with a dash of realism). I neglected to capture progress shots of this one, but I DO have one major mid-point shot--this is actually painted over the top of an older abstract piece (which some of you may remember) that I was no longer happy with. Here was "Thauma Pour" before it became the first layer of this new painting. I just continued on it with my newfound approach to abstract painting.

I was listening non stop to Led Zeppelin during this one, especially Physical Graffiti, which has the amazing track Kashmir. Robert Plant said this about Kashmir: “The whole deal of the song is… not grandiose, but powerful: it required some kind of epithet or abstract lyrical setting about the whole idea of life being an adventure and being a series of illuminated moments".
