Dear Subscribers,

Greetings. There is a fancy and exciting new element near the end of
this newsletter. Are you excited yet?

Hooray, new casts have arrived for my class! In April I'm offering the
option of charcoal cast drawing in addition to still-life oil
instruction. For class details or to get on the waiting list, email me.

These are the facial features of Michelangelo's David, pretty standard
fare for learning cast drawing. I'm looking forward to practicing with
them, it's been WAY too long.

My upcoming solo show at R.S. Hanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas is
now detailed on the events page of their website!

My painting "Succor" has
been accepted into this year's OPA (Oil Painters of America) National
Juried Exhibition
  in Evergreen, Colorado.

Brittany, one of my students, inspired this next thing. She showed me an
artist blog that had an animation for the creation of a painting. I
thought that was awesome. So I think I'll be doing that on a regular
basis. Looky!-->

A link to this animation (a bigger version) is available on on this
painting's webpage.

After that surge of cityscapes, I'm feeling the urge for still-life.
