Today is the opening for the "City Streets" group show at Studio Gallery in San Francisco (2-6 pm). I'm looking forward to it.
 
I've got 5 paintings in this one. Check out the work from all the artists in this slideshow.
 
New still life.
The setup. The pipe is propped in place with a bit of wire:

 
First stage:
A bit sloppy... I put that white tone over a used panel and didn't wait for it to dry. Not ideal.

Painting with a knife.

That onion needs to be knocked back somewhat, as my goal is to have the pipe be the main focus.
