Greetings! I'm back.

 

As mentioned in the last newsletter
 , June 8-9 I
attended a Zhaoming Wu   workshop. If you
haven't seen his work, check it out. He's awesome. I learned a ton and
I'm all amped to experiment with his strategies. What left a big impact
on me was how much intense color he puts into the shadows at the very
beginning of the painting. A really interesting approach, and much
different from what I know.
