News: My painting "Sparks On Third" was juried (by the superbly excellent and inspiringly prolific painter Jeremy Mann) into the "Urban Aspect" exhibition at Principle Gallery.

I spent some time yesterday writing here about the motivations behind this painting and the things that I hoped it would evoke. This morning I deleted what I wrote. I decided that if my painting needs to be explained to be appreciated, I'm either being condescending to the audience or I haven't done my job very well. And I think I did well, so there you go. ;)
