Dear Subscribers,

Greetings!

Back from hiatus.

Firstly:

Teaching back-to-back workshops in Virginia was great. Six straight full and fulfilling days. My teaching stamina has significantly increased. It helps to have such awesome hosts and attendees. I did some demos, and here they are:

"Demo of Orange and Silver" (9x12)

"Demo of Starkrimson Pear" (9x12)

I think I'll be increasing the workshop teaching activity in 2015.

If you wish to host an 8-student still life painting workshop and are properly equipped to do so, email me.

Secondly:

My solo show in Fredericksburg! The reception at RS Hanna Gallery was awesome.

I must apologize for the severe lack of photos from the event. I snapped this photo at the end of the night before rushing out to prevent an implosion from an exhausted 1-year-old. The picture doesn't really capture it, but the large "Pattern Two" was centered for a grand view from the long hall through the axis of the gallery.

And this one:

Many thanks to those of you who were able to make it!

The blog Lines and Colors posted a feature on my work today! Cool. I really like the thorough writeup.

"Of This World" gets Finalist in the August Boldbrush Competition.

This painting is hanging in the current "Delicious" show at STUDIO Gallery in SF.

I poached these next three photos from facebook. My painting "Sparks On Third" (far right) currently hanging in "Urban Aspect", a show curated by Jeremy Mann (his painting is the square on in the middle) at Principle Gallery.
