issue due to an eventful USA Thanksgiving, here is the link.
New workshop date just added!: March 18-21 2015.

I had a cosmic experiment. It started as different sized grape forms
floating in the ether and ended looking more like planets in space.
Cosmic grapes. I wasn't satisfied with the direction so I scraped it
out but it was a good exercise that I spent a surprising amount of time
on. I've been obsessed recently with Hubble photos of nebulas so I'll
likely revisit the space theme. This is on a small 8x8 panel. Using

I started with a view of downtown Seattle from Gasworks Park.

The man in the white shirt on the right is important, so I painted him
early and pumped up the white. Maybe he is the first to notice that
something isn't quite right, and is hurrying down the hill. Or maybe he
is clueless like the others. Either way, he offers a secondary focal
point.

After drying and framing, "A Foregone Conclusion" is headed out to
debut in Denver (early next month). It is going to look killer in the
frame that is being made for it.
Soon to be revealed: A new still life that reminds of my painting "The
Third Eye" from 2012. The process felt similar.
