Image 1630631 Dear Subscribers, Greetings. If this newsletter takes a bit to load, it's because there's a ton of pictures. I want to share a bit of the workshop experience. This most recent one was in Lindale, Texas. Most of these pictures are of the two demonstrations, but my workshops primarily focus on painting time for the students with me working with each individual to solve composition and technique problems. I keep the classes small so I can go in depth with each student. That is the style of teaching I enjoy. my setup for first demo my setup for first demo phonebook for laying out paints phonebook for laying out paints soaks up that extra oil from the tube soaks up that extra oil from the tube blocking in blocking in shape of darks shape of darks Image 1701129 knife knife the tip can be very precise the tip can be very precise Image 1701132 answering student questions answering student questions Image 1701134 Image 1701135 Maureen has a great space here Maureen has a great space here Image 1701137 Image 1701138 Image 1701157 Image 1701158 And the finished painting, "Demo with Metal & Mandarins" (9x12, sold): Image 1694235 like, tweet, pin, and view large image here Setup for the second demo.
