The first workshop in my new studio last weekend was great. Six dedicated artists putting in two days of intense work. Awesome group!

Friends and collectors in Texas: I hope you can come by RS Hanna Gallery on November 19th and say hello, see some paintings, and have some drinks. Also I'm doing a little painting demonstration. Never done this at a reception before, so that should be interesting... ;) .

New still life.

The setup:

First stages. Umber shape-of-shadow, then straight into full color with the knife:
