My trip out to Gallery 1261 in Denver for my solo show was a success. You can see pictures of the show layout over HERE. On the day after the reception I did a little painting demonstration at the gallery:

THE HAMPTONS

Current exhibition at Raison Gallery in Southampton NY! This is a special show curated by Trekell Art Supplies. All paintings are 12x12. The lineup of artists is glorious:

The most common question I get asked is how often I paint with knife. I use a knife for 50% of my paintings and brushes for 50% of my paintings. I love both tools equally. Here is a good example of that: I have two paintings in this show--one by knife, one by brush. Can you see the difference?

I had my final in-studio workshop at our Ballard location in Seattle. Another great group. This space was perfect for workshops. Here is the beginning of my demonstration:

Another workshop at Maureen Killaby's school in Lindale TX, my home away from home. Once again, a dedicated and fun group of artists. Arting and feasting. I even got a fascinating lesson about hot flashes. Good to know.
