It's a new month and a new figure model.
 
In the first session I got an umber drawing down:

 
During the second session I concentrated on the face:

 

 
I began a new still life on a narrow 24x12 panel. I literally spent an entire work day arranging and re-arranging objects before coming to a very simple composition. It was frustrating at first but I'm glad it took that long....a good reminder that if I just keep grinding away, the muse will show up at some point.
