Greetings!

Lots of new work to show you.

First up, a new figure piece. Stages:

And the finished painting, "Drift" (8x16):

"Drift" will debut at The Renaissance of Realism

November 13th at Gallery 1261. I'll be there!

New still life. Stages:

This painting all brushes, as opposed to the previous painting which was mostly knife. I love to alternate.

And the finished painting, "Zenith" (8x8):

"Zenith" will debut at Art Squared

November 2nd at RS Hanna Gallery

And now a new miniature portrait.

I decide to eliminate the detail in the black sweatshirt. Sacrifice detail for the sake of the painting, to keep focus where it matters.

And the finished painting, "Muse" (6x6):

Speaking of minis, I just finished these two as-yet-untitled 6x6 paintings, which I'll be talking more about next newsletter:
