I was going to write a thoughtful and detailed explanation of the long newsletter hiatus, but with all the developments in the last 7 months, it kept falling to the bottom of my priorities list. It's probably for the best---I wouldn't want you to get all tl;dr on me. The perfect is the enemy of the good, and keeping you updated is definitely GOOD for me. Thanks for your patience. For those of you who don't follow my Instagram, here is the rapid fire breakdown of what transpired since we last spoke, in chronological order: Moved from Seattle to Olympia, WA. After 4 yrs at home with kids, my wife resumes her career. So we swap roles. I do full time dad. Many adjustments and learning experiences. House hunt. Buy house. Move again. Get settled. Adjustments. Just recently I'm getting back into a painting groove as much as possible. Yay!
